Autumn Wedding in Montauk

Last year around this time I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Molly and Ben at the Montauk Lake Club. Molly is the author of the blog Dunk and Crumble where she shares recipes and photos of delicious food. Ben is an all around go getter, althete, traveler and fun guy as far as I can tell. They chose to get married at the Montauk Lake Club as Molly spent summers there with her family since she was little and they were fortunate to have one of the most beautiful of days. The weather was perfect, guests were treated to an amazing raw bar, among other things, and later were sent home with treats from Liddabit Sweets (based out of Brooklyn) where Molly interned before starting her blog. I think some of my favorite shots of the night were the ones I took of her and her grandfather dancing. I love seeing multi generations at weddings and you could tell her was so proud and happy for her. Later in the night I saw him taking pictures with an ipad. Check the photos for yourself!

These were shot for Stylish & Hip Weddings and edited in my style.

New Orleans Pharmacy Museum - Elizabeth + Jeremy

So I figured it was time that I started a blog and I thought the first wedding I shot solo would be the perfect place to start. A little over a year ago I had the honor of shooting Elizabeth and Jeremy's wedding at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum in the French Quarter. You can probably guess that a wedding in New Orleans, with a bride that moonlights as 60s soul DJ (DJ Bunny) and a groom that is the founder of the New Orleans Daiquiri Festival, is gonna be a good time and that it was!   There was a roasted pig from Bacchanal, rainbow sprinkles were tossed on the bride and groom, and guests were gifted moonshine as a parting gift. Of course the party continued on into the night at One Eyed Jack's a few blocks away. And I'm excited to report that I'll be shooting another wedding in New Orleans this month.
